   This is our P-4 Piano Pickup System. Twin sensors capture the acoustic sound of the piano and the P-4 buffer preamp enables you to plug into any amp or sound system. The twin sensors adhere to the underside of the soundboard on a grand piano or the back of the soundboard on an upright piano.
   One sensor is placed biased towards the treble side of a soundboard, the other sensor is placed biased towards the base side. This arrangement gives full coverage of the instrument.

Technical

     We've kept this pickup system simple and easy to use. The sensors adhere to the soundboard with either a small amount of the supplied putty - for non-permanent installations, or with the supplied double sided mounting tape for doing permanent installations. Each sensor has a 10 foot shielded cable with a 1/4" plug.

     The P-4 preamp is a buffer preamp with a gain control for each sensor input and a single mono output.

  • Battery Life: 9 volt alkaline average 1500 hrs

     Preamp On/Off: Preamp turns on with insertion of a plug into the output jack. Preamp Dimensions: 5" x 2.5" x 1.5". Sensor Dimensions: 1.75" x 1.25" x 0.25"
