     The V-03 is now available with the new Neo-Jack series output jack. Exceptional sound quality in a pickup and the first production output jack that does not clamp to the side of a violin. The Neo-Jack is held in place simply and securely by the violin's own tail gut.  The Neo-Jack 1/8" provides a small 1/8" output jack. The pickup comes with a 10 foot long 1/8" to 1/4" cable.

     The V-03 Std offers unparalleled reproduction, range and clarity of sound all wrapped up in a high quality  Superieur Despiau "two tree" maple bridge. There is no false 'fatness' of sound to this series of pickups; they will give you everything that your violin has.

     The response is sweet from the bottom end right up to the top. It has been tested and proven over nearly thirty years in production.

Neo-Jack

The Neo-Jack is held in place by the violin's own tail gut. The Neo-Jack will fit 99.9% of all violins regardless of the chin rest clamps. So rather than having an output jack assembly that clamps to the body of the violin, the Neo-Jack tucks in at the butt of the instrument just above the endpin button.

1) The back bracket is slid into place behind the tail gut

 

2) The Neo-Jack is fitted into place on the back bracket

 

3) A small washer and nylock nut tighten the Neo-Jack in place

Technical

     A highly efficient piezo element is built into a Despiau B model bridge. There is no acoustic degradation or loss of normal acoustic tone or volume. All V-03 models are in 4/4 size and fit a normal full sized adult violin.

     The pickup has excellent volume, great bottom and mids....and overall, a sweet, even response. It has been tested and proven over nearly thirty years in production.

Amplification

     This pickup has been designed to operate properly and sound terrific without the use of a preamp when plugged into any 'normal' amp (guitar amp, bass amp, etc.) As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. If you require the ability to plug directly into a P.A. or mixer then you may wish to add our Mini Pre belt clipable preamp.
