Automatic Winder Traverse - 110 volt - North America

The Automatic Winder Traverse is a small programmable machine that makes winding pickup coils easier and more consistent. It removes most of the drudgery of the winding process. The Winder Traverse also provides a tensioner for the coil wire that makes for better and more consistent winds.

This unit allows you to set the left and right limits for the traverse of the coil wire as well as the speed of the sweep between those limits. The Winder Traverse is secured to the same surface that the winding machine is mounted to with two small screws.

The Automatic Winder Traverse is designed for fine wire winding in the 42 to 44 gauge range.

The Winder Traverse contains a small microcontroller and is powered by a 9 volt adapter that comes with the unit. Once the settings are made for the left and right limits of the sweep, those settings are retained by the microcontroller until they are reset. So if you are winding multiples of the same bobbin you don't have set up for each bobbin.
